VACATE YOUR HOME

To vacate the property you’re currently renting, you’ll need to provide proper written notice.

 

NOTICE PERIODS REQUIRED

Approaching the End of Fixed Term – Not less than 14 Days Notice can be given any time if your lease is about to expire. This notice can be given up to and including on the last day of the fixed term.

After the End of Fixed Term – Not less than 21 Days Notice can be given after your lease has expired.

You must continue to pay your rent as normal. Rent is payable up until the day you return keys to The Rental Specialists if you return them late.

You can not, under any circumstances, apply your bond towards your rent.

 

BREAKING YOUR LEASE

Fees apply for you to break your lease. These are stipulated in your lease agreement and will be confirmed by The Rental Specialists in writing upon receipt of your vacate notice. This fee is in addition to normal rental payments which remain due and payable.

You must continue to pay your rent as normal. Rent is payable up until the day someone else commences paying rent.

You can not, under any circumstances, apply your bond towards your rent.
